Dear Friends,

I’m a bit late with the new year update but now you will know why.  Last year was a record-breaking year for Noir and we couldn’t have done it without you and your support. For that, we are very grateful.  We held some amazing 3rd Friday events, represented at Planet Comicon, partnered with the Museum at Prairie Fire and the Vaile Mansion and held our first NoirCreepsville Field Trip to see the Mummies Exhibit.  Whew … what a year.

We are only a month into the new year and we have some incredible news to share!  Noir is moving!  We found a much bigger space with 2 full floors!  We truly loved our time on W 39th Street but it should come as no surprise that we are at maximum capacity in the parlor.  We have been wanting to expand our offering of antiques to include furniture and other home décor items and this will give us the much-needed room for that expansion. Plus, we can finally start putting our plans into action for our dark art gallery where we will be able to host special events, speaking engagements, classes, artist markets, etc.  It’s a bit bittersweet and we know that you all love W39th Street as much as we have but we hope you will love our new home just as much.  We couldn’t be more excited about the possibilities.

This is huge and the move will be swift.  Starting in February we will begin our move back to where it all started for Noir … the West Bottoms.  We are thrilled about the opportunity to be a part of the new evolution of the West Bottoms.  We will be on a thriving block with some fantastic businesses that are driving daily visitors to the historic West Bottoms.

Noir Arts and Oddities will be on the north side of the 12th Street Bridge just around the corner from the Edge of Hell at 1101 Mulberry Street.  Same building as Blip Roasters, FetchKC and Blade and Timber.  We are working hard to have the doors open by the first weekend in March.

Again, all this wouldn’t be possible without you and we sincerely hope you will support us through this transition in the coming weeks.  We will do our best to keep you updated on our plans and some exciting events that we are working on to celebrate this occasion.

With Gratitude,
Pam and Team
